Making Pasta

Vivi bought me a pasta machine for Mothers Day... We had Erin and Sachin over to help with the pasta making and sampling of the pasta. We had a great time making Veal Bolognese and Tortellini with spicy Italian sausage and a Tortellini with ricotta cheese, spinach and poached egg.

We had a great time but, the pasta takes a long time to make and the clean up also takes a while....needless to say, the pasta machine went back to the store today. :)

Mother's Day!!

Today was Mothers Day!! Lance let me sleep in while he entertained Viv. When I woke, I came downstairs and Vivi had gotten me flowers, and a pasta maker which I was very excited about. We are having a pasta party on Friday so I will have to post pictures if the pasta turns out.

Saturday night we went over to Mary Beth Hallman's house for a dinner party. Mary Beth loves Vivi so much she pushed right past me to get to her in her car seat and held her most of the night. Here are some pics

Photo shoot

Here is a photo shoot that I did with Viv. Our neighbor have us a blanket that her mom had made, so I sent her a Thank You note and wanted to print out a picture for our neighbor to take to her mom in the nursing home.

Vivi ready for her boxing match

We dressed Vivi up in her boxing outfit before the big fight between Ricky Hatton and Manny Pacquiao. Lance and I wanted Ricky Hatton to win but knew even before the fight started that he probably would not win. Manny Pacquiao won in the 2nd round with a TKO. Ricky left himself open for Manny to come in with a fast hard right hook that hit Ricky so hard it looked like his brain rattled a little. We were sad but had a great time with everyone.
